Anyone remember that thing I drew back in '17? Well, I returned to it recently:

* Sizable dump


(Something I didn't mention on dA: a while ago I came across one of several Christian webcomic artists, L*dyPep, who has several interesting fictional settings, most prominently a steampunk-based one...BUUUUT based on what kinds of friends she has, and her conspicuously mentioning "male/female couples" and no other kind of romance under her "will draw" section, I'm pretty sure that actually sharing any of my ideas with her would end in disaster. So I did my own, entirely separate steampunk thing to cope. :U)

Something I write through the haze of "I should be in bed already": I offer anyone who wants a thought exercise to come up with their own vampire/servant duo (potentially followed by a witch and/or were-being). What are they like, how did they meet, which court does the vamp belong to (if any), etc.

Asking because I want to do some more vamp AU stuff (in addition to a million other things) and this might serve as inspiration. XD

At least, a rough idea for one. More info via the link; the tl;dr version is that it's a not-quite-zombie-apoc AU.

If anyone would like to develop this further, I'd be interesting in hearing about it!

I mean, this isn't exactly a new idea on my end, but it took me a while to figure out how to go about it.

'tis that next vamp AU post I wanted to make.

First off, some Blood Moon nobles and Harvest Moon hitmen (or in other words, theatre geeks and punks). There's seven new guys (and one pre-existing guy) per page; dunno yet if there'll be more in the future, but I'd gladly welcome other people's OCs. :D

I'm pretty sure this evolved from unspoken musings about "hey, what if I did a zombie-apoc AU except most of the zombies are harmless", combined with irritation over Bethesda catastrophically shitting the bed wrt: Fallout 76 (I have this Marathon/Fallout fusion, or rather bits of art and thoughts about it).

It's getting late as I type this so it may be a bit before I can go further into detail, but the very basic premise I have in mind is this: bad things happened and now the only known safe places for humans are a single cyberpunk-dystopia city and the rural outskirts. People in the latter get to live relatively normal lives, creating/managing their own resources and looking out for each other, but nobody who goes further out has ever come back. People in the former...well, they're less happy.

Vince is a hacker living in Cyberpunk Dystopia Hell who's being forced to do highly unethical stuff; eventually he finds a bunch of folks who are also at their darkest moments and runs off with them into the country. Things start looking up, until their former employers hunt them down and chase them into the unknown.

If anyone's interested in contributing ideas/characters, I can update this later.

Probably brought on by thinking about my Marathon/Castlevania crossover, piinutbutter's demon AU, and this Marathon/BloodNet fusion idea I had years ago.

Time to dig up what I drew of it for some filler-posting. Short version: this is one of the very few universes where Vince holds anything resembling a military rank.

* Crew dossier thing, with lots of info.

* Something bad happened in the past.

* Casual Vince, because greeble-armour is for squares.

* Two doodle pages featuring part of the crew.

Maybe not all that necessary, but I'll take any excuse to talk about my Marathon AU (and settling in on DW means I can go over the basics like I'm revealing it for the first time). I'll also gladly take any questions/comments about it!

Inmortalitas (a Latin term pertaining to immortality and memory) got started around mid-2015 when I decided to redo my fan-interpretations of the AIs from 2008. It kinda went on from there, and now I'm pretty sure that I've expanded on canon by 80%. Info and links pertaining specifically to it under the cut:
