Tharsis: Become Crossover
Jan. 3rd, 2019 07:41 pmSo, I'm not 100% familiar with the setting/events of Detroit: Become Human, and I don't really care to play it for a number of reasons, but due to its popularity it still occupies space in my brain meats. And inevitably, the topic of crossovers comes up.
1) Dimensional shenanigans: the Rozinante makes an unexpected pit stop at D:BH's Earth. Everyone is horrified at the way androids are treated, and the inorganic Rozies gain a new appreciation for their own 'verse, where androids are widely understood (and created from the start) to be artificial humans.
(Well, Lysander would be just a tad more cynical about it...)
2) Fusion: Basically, Vince rescues androids whenever and wherever he can, because he empathizes with them and is disgusted by their treatment; in his mind, any "object" that has the potential to become sentient should be treated as sentient from the start.
One day he rescues an android by the name of Dante, whose owner has a lot more power and influence than Vince realized--and now he's got a massive bounty on his head. Regardless, he's determined to get Dante to safety; meanwhile, Dante's having a bit of an identity crisis and decides to fix that by renaming himself. They fall in love, because I am predictable. :U
(Also, for some reason this led to the thought that Dante/Durandal might start off fair-haired in this scenario and dye his hair black later)
ETA: I did some art for option 2! You see what happens when you think about things for more than five minutes?

Date: 2019-01-09 05:20 am (UTC)Given that D:BH has sentient androids, I figure they could develop cures for at least a few currently-incurable illnesses...question is, would Vince live to see it?
