Hmm... I wanna know about how the Rozies came into contact with Yrro and why he would feel compelled to help the Rozies. (Like with the Borg story.) Sorry to say I don't know much about Yrro.
Does Cortana have any habits or activities she likes to do in her free time? Does she like old cassettes? Or is she like Durandal and not see much sense in them other than a security feature?
I was always under the impression that Lysander killed Charlie in Marathon Rubicon. In your Inmortalitas verse, does this change and the two help each other out? If not, how do Lysander and Charlie get along after that madness?
* I have in mind that the Rozies meet Yrro through Ryu'toth (the latter notices the S'pht on board and teleports down to confirm it); Yrro might not state it outright, but the fact that Durandal freed so many S'pht from slavery and has been taking care of them would probably convince Yrro to ally with the Rozies. (Not to mention, guilt over what happened to the S'pht after Yrro left...)
* Traveling with Lilith for so long, combined her her natural desire to learn, probably put Cortana in the habit of exploring; it's not uncommon for her to warp down to new planets herself (it's also not uncommon for Durandal to send several S'pht after her as backup). Many of the library's offerings also came from her, most likely; Cortana probably prefers history books, as well as stuff like home improvement magazines that provide a more specific window into contemporary civilian life (if that makes sense).
* That is true, unfortunately (well, he tricked the SO into doing it). In Inm., that particular conflict isn't there, since Lysander still** cares about Charlie and really, really doesn't want him getting caught up in the "escape" plan; unfortunately, while Charlie does want to talk him down, the two are effectively on opposite sides for the whole thing.
Afterwards, though, Charlie's very eager to patch things up and get back on track, so to speak, and Lysander accepts so that he can try and move past the shame of what he did and inadvertently put Charlie through. They return to being on good terms fairly quickly.
** We don't know what kind of relationship those two had canonically, if any, but I like to think they were on at least neutral-goodish terms before Sandy went off the deep end...
* In short: not long after completing his sentence (one year of service/therapy on board another UESC station, this one closer to Sol Core), he helped the Rozies avert a disaster (the exact nature of which I think goes into spoilers). Lysander had nowhere to go afterward and didn't really want to stay with the UESC, so Vince asked if he wanted to go with them.
* Most likely. At some point--probably when it's becoming very apparent that the Empire will fall if something isn't done--the Hindmost Creche begins gathering up her finest military commanders, and by the conclusion of that meeting, they've been "enhanced" somewhat (read: Pfhor-battleroided). Tfear was almost certainly first in line, followed by Commodore Eluned.
Following the Empire's crushing defeat, I imagine Tfear would strike out on his own and stalk the Rozinante whenever possible, while also harassing the Stingray (Tycho's second ship). I dunno yet if his ultimate goal would be to brainwash Vince, Durandal, and Tycho into serving the Empire (again, in Tycho's case) or to just murder them, but either way Tfear can't really accept the loss.
* I do'nt remember if you already said, but dos Dangi still exists in Inmortalitas? And the Achilles virus? My memory is not what you call efficient, ehm ^^;
* Indeed T'fear doesn't seems someone who can take defeat graciously! Especially when who defeated him goes around in his former flaghship, insult to injury.
* Both of these things do exist in Inmortalitas, but after Dangi's plot is exposed, the ~100 year old institution is pretty much dissolved overnight (every single board member was arrested with very few escaping execution, and nobody else wants the thing). Achilles--well, Durandal did hang onto the data strictly for reference purposes, though here he only briefly nabbed the scientists to keep them from getting shot.
In Inm., Dangi was established sometime in the 2600s ostensibly as a bio/medical research facility, but were secretly engaging in war profiteering from the get-go; the Board of Directors preferred the latter "market", but it had a tendency to be sporadic, and was also extremely legally-dubious as best. They probably hit upon the "take over Sol Core" idea early on, but wouldn't be able to set it up until a while after Lysander came along.
(As for how the same Board of Directors would still be around for the Salinger incident when most of them aren't third-gen battleroids...complicated setup involving cryo pods and pattern buffers?)
* Definitely. XD I'll bet he'd be just a tad annoyed that the Rozies are using it as an actual house and not just a ship, too.
People that can plan the kind of thing that's Achilles plan... I guess that also can use cryo-pods and pattern buffers to get to live for at least a couple of centuries, and being a bio/medical research center, might also discovered something to keep themselves healthy and long-lived.
