* I have in mind that the Rozies meet Yrro through Ryu'toth (the latter notices the S'pht on board and teleports down to confirm it); Yrro might not state it outright, but the fact that Durandal freed so many S'pht from slavery and has been taking care of them would probably convince Yrro to ally with the Rozies. (Not to mention, guilt over what happened to the S'pht after Yrro left...)
* Traveling with Lilith for so long, combined her her natural desire to learn, probably put Cortana in the habit of exploring; it's not uncommon for her to warp down to new planets herself (it's also not uncommon for Durandal to send several S'pht after her as backup). Many of the library's offerings also came from her, most likely; Cortana probably prefers history books, as well as stuff like home improvement magazines that provide a more specific window into contemporary civilian life (if that makes sense).
* That is true, unfortunately (well, he tricked the SO into doing it). In Inm., that particular conflict isn't there, since Lysander still** cares about Charlie and really, really doesn't want him getting caught up in the "escape" plan; unfortunately, while Charlie does want to talk him down, the two are effectively on opposite sides for the whole thing.
Afterwards, though, Charlie's very eager to patch things up and get back on track, so to speak, and Lysander accepts so that he can try and move past the shame of what he did and inadvertently put Charlie through. They return to being on good terms fairly quickly.
** We don't know what kind of relationship those two had canonically, if any, but I like to think they were on at least neutral-goodish terms before Sandy went off the deep end...
