"Man, even if many of the now-adults I had to put up with there were grade-A dicks, it would be nice to walk around my old combination-elementary/middle school and take pictures--oh, wait, the pandemic is still a problem and they probably wouldn't want me trudging around anyway."

With bonus "goddammit, I wish I still had those Pokemon I lent out to a former friend years ago that they never gave back."

...on the plus side, I'm currently waiting on some air-dry modeling clay that I'm gonna try and use to make the Rozie trio. (It would be nice if I could say that my attempt at DIY clay using glue and cornstarch worked as intended, but--let's just say that it makes better spackle than anything)

I'm old enough to be between a babyboomer and generation X (in Italy the generations timing is shifted by 10/15 years afterwards the USA timing) and none of the schools I attended still exist as institution (population crunch).

And yes, a lot of these I'm quite happy to have lost contact, to be honest. Granted, I was quite insufferable as an adoleshent but whoa did my mysantropy formed during these years.

Buildings still exist but one is a old abandoned wreck, the other were changed to other destinations. Kinda sad to see the first one, but it was an old building from between the wars and it was everything that you shouldn't do in a building for childrens, and was basically left rotting when new accessibility laws came in force because the only way to adjust would have been to raze the damn thing and rebuild. Another one was a seventies monster that way build up to the more adwance anti-seismic freatures but also a everything in the seventies was naked concrete everywhere... without railings of sort. I'm still boggling nobody broke bones or skulls during recess.

The only thing remaining is a whats'app group of high school where the main content are memes and birthay messages.

If you use air-dry modeling clay things like these might be of help link to amazon but just to show how sculptor shapers looks like (of course if you don't already have these)
