Adventures in adulting?
Dec. 29th, 2019 09:42 amBy which I mean "I want to renovate my closets in the hopes of utilizing more vertical space, and to that end I got a set of plastic shelves from Home Depot".
Maybe the adventure part comes in that I have flushed many a recluse spider in my left-hand closet over the years, and I'm not looking forward to cleaning the whole thing out.
(I really wanted to clean out the right-hand closet first, since I already use it for both storing and displaying things, but there's currently no place to move the dresser drawer. Mrph.)
UPDATE: Welp, didn't run into a single spider during the renovation of the Horrible Spider Closet.
Job's about 99% done; just need some poster board or something that can act as floors for the wire cubicles that are housing my figures now.

Date: 2020-01-02 02:32 pm (UTC)I have a non-aggression pact with spiders: they stay in their hole, I leave them alone. Not that there are dangerous ones around me (city environment and the only few actually dangerous eight-legged critters usually take refuge in much wilder environments).
Congrats on the renovation! I'm going through one myself and I know how a chore it can be!

Date: 2020-01-02 03:56 pm (UTC)We have a bug-vac that I use to transport most smaller spiders I find outside; it's the big ones that freak me out.
Thanks (and good luck on your own)! ^^
