So what happened today?

My uncle gave us some furniture that wouldn't be coming along with him to his new home, and today the mover dudes arrived to bring it in and take some other stuff of ours to the thrift shop. We've got a new couch (replacing the old one Mom had since college), media-center-thing, a cabinet, a couple of ottomans, and a chair, among a couple other things; the only problem now is that parts of our house look like a tornado went through 'em, and we've got at least two weeks of work ahead of us squaring it all away.

I can't say I'm looking forward to that, but at least Hamacon's coming up soon? And hopefully by the time we're done, the house will look somewhat nicer.

I know the situation... I moved eleven times between work and home. Good luck with the renovation!

Ouch!!! Cleaning up the home after exchanging furniture is never fun. (It's the dust bunnies man. Can't stand them.) At least you can help each other on squaring it all away!

Yep. XD My sisters have been getting their room squared away, and the other day I got all of those plastic shopping bags off of the kitchen table (we were gonna donate them to be recycled, but could never get around to it, and so they kept piling up).

I hope so too!
