Marathon/Doctor Who fusion of some sort. Bonus points if you can work in a reference to Sapphire and Steel. (Ideally I'd also use an OC Doctor for this to relieve at least a little canon baggage on DW's side, if that makes sense, but I'unno if everyone reading this would go that route...)

Oh, and this old, massive DW slash fic I found on Slash City that does the OC Doctor thing mentioned above and brings in both The Tomorrow People and Dark Shadows. Too bad the formatting in Chapter 1 makes my brain glaze over...

Oh, man, the companion really is Leela's namesake? That's great. ♥ I never did get around to watching many of Four's serials so I didn't meet her, alas - I should really pick up watching more Classic Who again...

I've only seen bits and pieces of Classic Who (and, well, New Who) myself. XD; We've got some old serials on DVD, but the First Doctor story that Mom and I tried watching was so very, very slow-paced...

Yeah, a lot of them are pretty slow/repetitive. XD Which serial was it? (I got hooked on new!Who right around season 4 of it and ended up going back and watching several serials - a few with the First Doctor, a couple of Two, a whole lot more of Three because I liked the Master in s3 and the Master first showed up in Three's serial and honestly all of them are DELIGHTFUL, Three and Delgado!Master have such great "best enemies" chemistry and I love the UNIT crew, especially the Brig and Jo...)

It was "The Sensorites"! It seems to be the earliest First Doctor serial we have, too. XD

(So far the Doctor I've sat down and watched the most episodes of is Thirteen...and I still need to get caught up via DVR or something. XD; )

Oh, I actually really like that one! But it's not the most action-packed, for sure. XD There's a two-part one that I forget the name of that's a lot more tense and thriller-y and Barbara gets to tell the Doctor off that might make a better introduction! And also the first Daleks serial is fun...

(I've been meaning to watch Thirteen's season! She sounds like fun, there's just - always so many things I want to watch. /o\ And so little time.)

I've seen a bit of the Fourth Doctor's episodes. He never really enjoyed Leela's company that much. She was a bit violent. Also she didn't have the wit that the other companions did. Like Romana. Those two had chemistry! ^_^

But I'm more familiar with the Ninth, Tenth, and Eleventh Doctors though. But my first Doctor was the Seventh with Sylvester McCoy. (I was probably in Kindergarten at the time so I didn't notice how bad the special affects were. Or how corny the show was.)But I loved how goofy/evilly clever the Doctor was!

Also ACE! Just ACE! She was my childhood hero! A girl that made bombs and carried them in her backpack! Beat up Daleks with a baseball bat and later blow up a Dalek with a rocket launcher!

Even now while playing Destiny and I hear of Cayde 6's child, which is named Ace, I see a girl, not a boy, being Cayde 6's child.

Hee! Now I just want to see Ace wielding Cayde's "Ace of Spades" while the Doctor is lecturing her on the dangers of guns! ^_^

Sorry, this is turning more into a Destiny/Doctor Who fusion isn't it?
