So basically, little point to checking FFA unless there's another Marathon thread. XD; (I, uh...never really used newsgroups, but I heard they had problems just like present-day social internet spaces)
The hell of it is, for a while it looked like tumblr's staff was gonna do it the right way (going after just the offenders, and reinstating any innocent blogs that got caught in the crossfire). Alas...
As I was typing this, I found out that they were planning the adult content ban months in advance and the app store fiasco just sped it up. So now they don't even have the benefit of "it was this or never get back in Apple's good graces".
