Mundane updates, 12/2/19
Dec. 2nd, 2019 01:19 amBy which I mean "it's mostly me blathering about toys 'n stuff, because I did a lot of work in the basement again". :U
* So, my figma Saber 2.0 arrived on Halloween; I also got figma Miku Hatsune 2.0, and mostly recently, FIGMA!ASTOLFO. :D Of course, there's only so much room to put 'em all, and I'd really like some shelves I could put on the wall behind the computer.
* At some point, I found one of Irwin!Sailor Mars's gloves. I am also now the proud owner of an Irwin Neptune plush; seeing what good condition she was in compared to Jupiter and Mercury pushed me to try that "stick the plush in a bag with baking soda and shake" trick (it worked well enough).
* That, in turn, inspired me to look for my talking Kero-chan plush; took a few days, but he now sits on my bed.
* With some help, I rearranged one of the storage rooms in the basement such that I could put bins in one corner and drag more in there from the main room. Of course, there's only so much that can be done in there (and the main room) without Gorilla shelves.
* I found this impressive doll collection tour vid, spotted Kayley from Quest for Camelot, and ran down to get mine and finally try fixing her up.
(Never saw that movie in its entirety, I think, but I did read the junior novelization when I was a sprog)
* Don't know what I'll be doing for the rest of December besides working on Marathon stuff (particularly 7days-related art), but I think that next year I'd like to try getting more Sailor Moon Irwin plushes. And Figuarts Super Sailor Moon. XD (I would add "and figma Utena Tenjou", but I don't think anyone's got her cheap...)

Date: 2019-12-17 02:14 am (UTC)A lot of work has been going into that basement! But I bet it has been well worth it. I'm glad you have been able to get everything so well organized.
Wow! That is a lot of cool dolls! I remember having one of the Ariels as a kid, but the sight of Milo and Kida blew me away. Always loved Disney's Atlantis movie.
I hope you are having a fun December! ^_^

Date: 2019-12-17 04:59 am (UTC)We've at least got a little more room. XD Between when I wrote this and now, I moved some bins full of clothes to out of the main room one of our storage rooms (with assistance).
One of these days, I need to watch Atlantis in entirety (did have a simplified story book of it). XD
It's been going alright so far! ^^
