Let me hear you say "filler post"

Anyone remember those "My Size" Barbies they sold back in the mid-90s? I was given one back then (Midge, specifically) and she currently lives in my room.

Here's a comparison of what she looked like before and after I fixed her up. I'd already scrubbed off some dirt and pencil markings with a Mr. Clean pad by the time I took the "before" photo, but her hair was still a tangled mess and I wanted to put her in different clothes. Now, Midge was "my size" when I was five or six, but now I'm almost two feet taller and nothing of mine fits her anymore; hell, even most of my old clothes from when I was younger slid right off. Midge's shorts are only staying up because I used a hair tie to tighten them.

That bit of difficulty aside, I do think Midge looks better now; at least her hair is no longer a rat's nest. XD (Note about the cross necklace: I'm not religious; it was just something I was given ages ago but had no other use for)

Wow! You've done an awesome job of sprucing her up! I definitely like her outfit. ^_^

Talk about nostalgia. I've completely forgotten that the "my size" Barbies existed until you brought Midge up. That was a wonderful time period for Mattel and Hasbro toys.
