We didn't stay too long--most of the comic vendors were concentrated on the first floor, with second and third being the artist alley--but we all had a good time; it was at least more enjoyable than the final Hamacon. XD;

Highlights include: some fellows working on a mosaic outside the door we entered/exited through, lots of dogs, two sphinx kitties in a stroller, and a 1:1 scale remote-control WALL-E that one guy had on the second floor. There wasn't too much on the first floor that caught my interest (besides a Toybiz Rogue doll, but I only had so much money on me), but I did eventually buy one thing: that Playmates Star Trek TOS bridge set that I'd first seen all the way back in a California TRU in the '90s! (Same seller had a couple of Picards, but those were the Generation-based ones with less articulation)

Bonus: an older gentleman noticed me holding the box and talked with me and Dad for a bit about some Star Trek merch he owned when he was my age.

Afterward, we stopped by the Deep (it's a bit farther up the road from Lowe Mill), where I found Marvel Legends Archangel and Forge; my ideal X-Men lineup steadily approaches completion.
