Filler thing
May. 25th, 2019 11:32 am* My 27th birthday is exactly a week away. [internal screaming]
* My sisters and I went to Build-a-Bear yesterday and I got myself an Eevee. :D (One of my sisters had gotten an Eevee the previous day and I decided that I wanted one too; maybe one of these days I'll head back in and get one of those berry accessories)
* Tried Cup Noodle for the first time (specifically the soybean one, as it was one of the few varieties without milk), and basically I've found a new "what to have for lunch when I can't be arsed to make a sandwich or burger" thing.

Date: 2019-05-26 02:37 pm (UTC)Are cup noodles the dried noodles with seasoning you put boiling water in and wait a bit to eat? Funny food to try once in a while -- but the milk make me doubt it's what I'm thinking.

Date: 2019-05-26 03:49 pm (UTC)Yeah (the instructions on the kind I got were to pour room-temp water in first, then microwave); I'm also not entirely sure why dried noodles would have milk ingredients unless there's cheese involved, but that was the warning on most of the ones I looked at. >.

Took me a minute to realize you were talking about ramen! I thought your Cup Noodle was the name of a restaurant! My bad! ^_^ Yeah ramen/cup noodle is pretty big over here. Cheapest food you can afford and still have a lot of flavors.

I think the ones at the commissary were about 37 cents each? Definitely cheaper than most of the inexpensive foodstuffs around here. XD
