A vamp AU question

Something I write through the haze of "I should be in bed already": I offer anyone who wants a thought exercise to come up with their own vampire/servant duo (potentially followed by a witch and/or were-being). What are they like, how did they meet, which court does the vamp belong to (if any), etc.

Asking because I want to do some more vamp AU stuff (in addition to a million other things) and this might serve as inspiration. XD

Alex and JK!Durandal as servant/vampire? But the latter should modify the name, since there's only one Durandal, hehe.

I was thinking mostly OCs for this one, but it'd be cool to see JK!Durandal as a vampire, too! :D

Mmmm... Hard to make any of my old OCs vampires. Or have them fit into a Vampire AU.

I mostly wrote old medieval fantasy for my OCs. Some of them are already werewolves, werecats, dragons, humans that talk to dragons, or poor souls that were half human and half dwarf.

Sad to say I don't know if any of this stuff helps. ^_^

Jake, or Jacob, if you wish to point out his Jewish heritage, is a werecat. Looks like a common human by day, turns into a large black cat at night. He was found abandoned by the road as a child by a traveling caravan of Gypsies. They eagerly adopted the boy and taught him the Romani ways.

Now Jake travels throughout most of Europe but never stays put for too long due to obvious reasons. He loves visiting the cities and the old castles. And enjoys learning about the people and culture in each country.

If your Vampires ever need someone to aid them in navigating a huge European city, or need a ally to vouch for the Vampires among the slums in that city, Jake is your man.

Note: he may steal for you as well. But he is picky about his thieving skills. For one, it has to be for a good cause. And two, he likes a challenge but dislikes killing his marks.

Pretty cool! :D I just hope Jacob never needs to shift in Vince's presence, 'cuz all the Servant perks in the world couldn't get rid of his cat allergies. XD

This is where Jake would laugh and cheekily tell Vince that cats are always attracted to people who are allergic to them! ^_^

Also Vince should watch where he leaves his clothes. There will be cat hair everywhere!
