Like bandom, except not
Feb. 17th, 2019 07:31 amYou ever have one of those ideas that you think might go somewhere, but every train of thought ends up hitting a dead end?
I am faintly intrigued by bandom, but there's the insurmountable hurdle of "I am also ethically opposed to real person fic". Well, earlier my brain spat out "workaround in the form of yet another Inm.-based AU where the Rozies, or at least the core three, are musicians despite only Joyeuse having any musical talent at this stage". Aaaaand it didn't go anywhere meaningful after that.
I imagine that if Vince were the frontman, they'd mostly sound moody and introspective save for the occasional vent song that's very difficult for most folks to listen to in its emotional intensity; Lilith might be their manager in theory (in practice, she's just keeping an eye on her former student Cortana/Cory Strauss). They're perpetually broke for one reason or another, usually unforeseen circumstance, and live in a dubious apartment/their van.
Someone else with more than a passing interest in bandom will have to write/draw this, I think. :U
