Destiny 1 still lives

Last night (okay, early this morning) I logged into Destiny for the first time in ages, after learning that many people still play it; for a long time I'd been hesitant to do that, fearing that it'd be abandoned or not even playable now that Bungie is focusing on D2. 'twas not the case; while there weren't that many folks in the Tower, there were still more than I expected.

The other reason I checked D1: I wanted to take some pics of my Awoken warlock Naedia (like, actual pics taken with a camera; I don't have a capture card) for icon-making purposes. And because I kinda missed her, I guess. XD

Maybe one of these days I'll try playing it properly again? Never did get around to dealing with Crota...

It's a very nice icon! ♥ And yeah, I haven't gone back to D1 in a while because of the Forsaken grind, but it still has a decent amount of activity. ... I was just thinking today that it might be time to do another Wei Ning Memorial Crota Raid, but I'd probably do it on my XBone, I don't know what it would be like trying to log back on with my 360.

(I need to make a Sylith-3 icon. And a Sibyl. And an Allison...)

(I should probably make an icon of Sol in the future. And get around to making a file for Feronia. XD)

Naedia looks great! It's good to hear that D1 is still chugging along; I miss it and keep thinking about going back for a nostalgic replay (Rise of Iron was my absolute favourite Destiny era, no question), but I have so much D2 to catch up on that I don't know if it'll ever happen...

(Crota is fun, though! Recommended.)

(Nadia's level 35 right now; maybe she could handle Crota... Sol's still lv.16, though. Gotta fix that. XD)

Apologies to this really lazy question, but... do Destiny come with a single player mode?

Not that I hope to be able to play it on Linux, but I still keep a Windows 7 alternate boot around just in case...

Not exactly? Many missions can be done solo, as you can all the patrols (basically free mode), but several important ones are raids (i.e. must be done with a certain number of other players).
